About Us
The Department of Medical Education & Administration consists of the Postgraduate Education Centre Manager and five members of staff whose main role is to organise continuing education for doctors in training. The team work closely with the District Clinical Tutor who is the representative of the Oxford Postgraduate Dean and whose remit it is to ensure that such education is delivered appropriately. The team also provides support for various people: the GP Vocational Training Scheme Course Organisers, the GP CME Course Organiser, Associate Tutors, Specialty Tutors and Clinical Development Training Manager (for Nurses).
Induction of Doctors, GP meetings, Nurse Study Days, Study Leave and Appraisal are all organised by the team.
Work is currently underway for a multi story car park on the hospital site, and parking will be affected. There is now a ‘pay & display’ parking available directly outside the centre. The cost of which is £2.00 for 3 hours or £4.00 per day.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
The new car park is due to open in August 2007.
